These high-quality and durable glass petri dishes are made from borosilicate glass and are designed for long term use. Compared to plastic dishes which are cheaper and disposable, these glass petri dishes are easily washed and can be reused for a very long time. From an environmental perspective, glass is the best option.

Size: The outside diameter with the lid included of the glass petri dish is 90mm and the height is 20mm. The diameter of the lid is a little larger than the plate to allow air circulation.

Unfortunately, laboratories are a nightmare because so much of the plastic in labs is used once and then thrown out, most of which can’t even be recycled! We encourage our customers to please stop using single use plastics, unless necessary.
