Pre-Made Culture Lids, will fit all regular mouth (70 mm) canning jars. The lid is equipped with a heavy duty Self Healing Injection Port and a 0.22 µm Syringe Filter that provides high-quality contaminant free gas exchange (GE). Good gas exchange is required for healthy culture to grow and maintain excellent health. The lid and all components are made from PTFE plastic and are 100% autoclavable and reusable.

Our Pre-Made Culture Lids are made from PTFE and and can be reused for a very long time. They are built to be functional and affordable. All the components can be found separately on our site and be easy replaced when needed. Designed for use with liquid cultures and grain spawn. Our lids feature heavy duty medical grade Self-Healing Injection Ports and a 0.22 µm Syringe Filter to provides contaminant free gas exchange . This type of lid must be left a 1/4 turn open when pressure cooking, and fully tightened when cooled.
