Pre-Poured Nutrient Agar Slants:

These pre-poured nutrient agar slants work wonders for any verity of mushroom. Each slant contains approximately 20ml of pre-sterilized malt extract agar (MEA) in a 50ml polypropylene tube. We have additionally supplemented the wooden sticks to provide your mycelium with a wide rage of nutrients. This will help keep your genetics strong and healthy over long term storage.

To Use:

Let your agar slant reach room temperature before use. Then, in a sterile environment, transfer mycelium from a plate into your slant. These can be store in the refrigerator for up to a year.

Storing Of Unused Slants:

Store your unused slants in a zip-lock bag and place them in a cool location. In the absence of a refrigerator, store them in a cold room.  Check for condensation from time to time. Condensation means there is a heat source driving out water from the agar, which will dry it out quickly. Use your slants within 1 year of receiving them.
